The Santo Antonio Mill, in partnership with the Industry Social Service (SESI), promoted a lecture for its employees with the intention of preventing and providing guidance about the risks of breast cancer. The lecture took place on Thursday (15th), at the plant’s headquarters. The lecturer Fernanda Ferreira talked about women’s health with a focus on breast cancer. A video by Dr. Dráuzio Varella was also shown with explanations about the subject and testimonials from women living with cancer. The initiative is part of the activities of the “Pink October” campaign, which aims at the wide dissemination of the causes and treatments for breast cancer. The Mill’s employees attended the lecture and approved the initiative.
